Privacy

KALAº collects only what you voluntarily submit through this site. This section summarizes what happens with that information.

When you subscribe in the footer, your email address is sent to Buttondown, which hosts the mailing list. Buttondown stores your address so they can deliver messages and handle unsubscribes. Their privacy practices apply to that data. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email.

Contact form

When you use the contact page, your name, email, and message are sent through Resend to the project owner’s inbox. Resend processes the message as an email delivery service. Do not include sensitive personal or financial information unless you are comfortable with it being emailed.

Purchases (Stripe)

When you buy an original through this site, you are redirected to Stripe’s secure checkout. Stripe processes the payment and collects what they need to complete the transaction (for example email, billing or shipping details, and payment method information according to the flow you see at checkout). KALAº does not store your full card number on this site. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

After a successful purchase, Stripe may notify this site’s servers so the work can be marked sold and so a receipt can be sent. Receipt and order-related email is sent through Resend, using the address you provided at checkout.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use third-party analytics cookies for tracking. Theme preference (light/dark) may be stored in your browser’s local storage only.

Purchases

Each degree offered for sale is a single original. When you pay through Stripe, the work is marked sold and cannot be purchased again. Prices are in USD. Artwork and shipping are separate line items — you see the full total before you pay. By completing checkout you agree to these policies. The buyer owns the physical piece; the artist retains copyright and reproduction rights unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Refunds

Original sales are generally final — each piece is one-of-one. If your order arrives clearly damaged in shipping or is not what you purchased, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order details. We will work with you in good faith (repair, replace if ever possible, or refund when appropriate). Change-of-mind returns are not offered. Payment disputes through your bank should be a last step after reaching out here.

Shipping

Checkout on this site is currently limited to United States addresses. Shipping is a flat $12.95 USD added at checkout, on top of the artwork price — you see both amounts in Stripe before you pay. Orders ship via USPS to the address you enter at checkout, so please double-check it. Typical handling is within a few business days after payment; delivery time depends on USPS. Tracking is shared when available.

International shipping is not offered through checkout at this time. Shipping rates and regions may change later. If you are outside the US and interested in a work, a commission, or another arrangement, reach out through the contact page — pricing and payment can be discussed directly.
